In a study published by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in October 2007 stated that vitamin C intake is important in reducing the number of fine lines and wrinkles and the incidence of dry skin related to aging. Vitamin C is necessary for the formation of collagen which is present in the deeper layers of the skin and prevents the skin from sagging.
